Bay


2 nave bays

1 - The spaces between vertical elements, such as columns, pilasters, piers, or buttresses,
Where there are no columns or other divisions, and regularly-spaced windows, each window in a wall is counted as a bay.

2 - Bay in a house: area of a room that extends beyond the main walls of house, especially an area with a large window.

Bay window:

1 - Window of a protruding bay
2 - Window that projects from the surface of an exterior wall and extends to the ground

Nave bay:  vertical division on church architecture, often marked by columns or pillars

Bow window

Canted bay: A bay window with a flat front and angled sides
