Rix Jennings Memorial Bench.

The house is set amidst Arts and Crafts-period gardens, and the surviving central section of a sculpture, Magna Mater, is displayed in one of them. This sculpture panel, initially set out on the lawn next to the Roycroft Inn, was commissioned about 1912 by Hubbard and his second wife, Alice, and is the work of an English artist named Katherine Maltwood who, like Alice Hubbard, was a feminist and suffragist.
