Date of Death: 2/12/1920Pauline was the wife of William H. Ellis who for 30 years was business manager of the old Buffalo Commercial newspaper.
Mrs. Ellis was the cousin of Susan B. Anthony, women suffrage heroine. Mrs. Ellis was an advocate herself of women suffrage.
She was born in Leon, New York, living in Buffalo for 73 years. She was a life long member of the Society of Friends; Women's Federation of Buffalo; Martha Washington Club; Women's Republican Club
Mrs. Ellis was one of the first graduates of the State Normal School.
Mrs. Ellis was 86 years old at the time of her death.
She resided at 33 Grange Place prior to her death.
