The church was closed in 2009. The stations of the cross, illustrated below, are on display at the Buffalo Religious Arts Museum.

One reason the church is considered Italian Romanesque Revival is that the painted ceiling beams resemble those in the San Miniato al Monte Church in Florence, Italy.
