Watercolor - Musical Saints: Easter Window
The usual first step in designing and fabricating a stained glass window is to paint a watercolor.  Once the design is agreed to and a contract is signed,  the studio will proceed to draw a cartoon.

Most studios use enamel on stained glass window memorial wording, but Tillinghast usually uses individual pieces of glass, instead.

Installed 1907.
Subject matter and location (east transept) chosen because the baptismal font and reredos, also designed by Mary Tillinghast, are located in the same transept.
