Mahogany plank This plank was sawn from the enter section of a heavy, Cuban mahogany tree. Notice the lighter "sap" wood near the outer edges. This wood is still in an immature state and would not be used by a cabinetmaker The midsection has been planed and polished to show the look of freshly finished mahogany.
