  Ridge cap:Volute shape decorated with leaves.
This cap had fallen from the third story roof to the ground by an abandoned house in Elmira, NY.  Minor damage on back.
Manufactured c. late 1800s. Found in 2012.  Presumably, the cap was made in Elmira.
